No one can use the Shell pool without having with them the Shell security pass. In order to get this pass members need to supply the Club officer (martinflash@mac.com ) with an electronic photo, either of passport size or capable of cutting down to it, and a telephone number for next of kin, or emergencies (normally supplied on the entry form).

For each individual Shell is supplied with their name, title, date of birth, address, emergency phone and photo. Once this information is complete and supplied, it takes 5 full working days before a pass is ready for collection at Shell. The procedure is then as follows.

A Sports Pass will not be issued without proof of identification. Please ensure this identification has not expired.

1. On an individual’s first visit to Shell Centre they must have a valid nationally recognised photographic ID with them i.e. passport or driving licence. Security will then check identification and issue the appropriate Sports Pass. (Please Note, the Sports Pass does not have a photo on it, however when presented to a reader a picture will be displayed on the Security's officer’s Monitor Screen with the individuals details)

2. On all subsequent visit the individuals must have their Sports Pass with them. If an individual does not have their sports Pass with them, then access will be denied.

3. If an individual looses their Sports Pass they must contact the Club officer, who will then request a replacement pass to be made. (Please Note, that a replacement pass will take 5 working days to prepare). To get the new card proof of identification will again be needed.

4. If the Sports Pass is identified by Security as being faulty when presented to the reader, the Security Officer will take the card but will allow access for that day only. Security will then return the faulty card to be replaced. (Please Note, that a replacement pass will take 5 working days to prepare). To get the new card proof of identification will again be needed.

5. Users have to turn up promptly between 7 and 7.15. Shell normally will not admit late members after 7.30.
